Carlos G. Cálix takes part as a Fellow in a regional leadership program run by Fundación CALI, a member of the Aspen Institute. There the idea emerges: a technology-based civic platform to transform Central American cities.
At a meeting on state transformation, Leonardo Rivera talks about civic platforms to improve quality of life. Carlos proposes building an AI company based on citizen data together. The complementarity is clear: Rivera from AI and technology; Cálix from governance, data and institutions.

Before its legal incorporation, GOBAI wins its first clients: a presidential-level project for the March primaries and four projects tied to mayoral and congressional races in Honduras.
Legal incorporation in Honduras before the Tegucigalpa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIT) and the Revenue Administration Service (SAR). On 16 March the GOBAI trademark registration begins before the Property Institute.
Alliance with Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras (UTH) to create AI Centers in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula: training, research, innovation and development of applied solutions.

Tegucigalpa and Marcovia become pioneering AI programs for smart cities: citizen services, automation, data, territorial intelligence and municipal management.
A network of 10 pioneering municipalities is created to share infrastructure, data, best practices, automation and public innovation, with a plan to expand to 28 Honduran municipalities during 2027.
